March 19- School Day SAT (DIGITAL)
The SAT is a college placement test. It is important for admission to 4 year colleges. It can also be used as placement at a 2 year college. Also, many of the state scholarships (Palmetto Fellows, Life) and other local scholarships require SAT or ACT scores as part of the application process.
Students can download BlueBook and start practice tests on Khan Academy at no cost. The digital SAT is 2 hours in total testing time, much shorter than the paper/pencil SAT.
