
Let's kick off Legacy Week with Crazy Hat Day!


We are excited about Legacy Week, during which BHS students give back to the school and community through service. Let's celebrate service with these dress up days.


We have two more athletic updates to share::
• On March 31st, our softball teams will play at Landrum. Varsity softball will play first starting at 5:30 pm.
• On April 3rd, JV baseball will play at Landrum at 5:00pm. This is a rescheduled game from March 10th.

Mrs. Dubois’ PLTW Human Body Systems students identify the parts of a sheep’s brain while studying the nervous system.




We have two athletic updates to share:
• Our varsity soccer teams will play Greer Middle College on April 2nd at North Greenville University. Varsity girls will play at 5:30 pm and varsity boys will play at 7:30 pm. These games were originally scheduled for March 28th.
• Our varsity baseball team will now host MVP on March 31st & April 4th. Game times will be 6:30 pm. These two games were originally scheduled to be played at MVP.

We are looking forward to Legacy Day on April 4th when BHS staff and students spend a day in service to others! Students, if you signed up to participated in an off-campus opportunity, your permission forms are due tomorrow, March 24th.

Thanks so much to all who participated in the AVID blood drive. BHS AVID met our goal of 30 donors. Thank you to The Blood Connection supporting our school.






Congratulations to our first cohort of TEACH Spartanburg students! TEACH Spartanburg is the first Teacher Pathway Program for high school students in Spartanburg County. TEACH Spartanburg allows students to start their journey toward a teaching degree through dual enrollment courses with Spartanburg Community College and USC Upstate. This selected group was surprised with their admission announcement into the program to celebrate this groundbreaking initiative.

Junior, Noah Young has been selected as one of six recipients to attend the Washington D.C. Youth Tour sponsored by Laurens Electric Cooperative, Inc. Noah will spend one week in June with over 1,400 youth from all of the country learning about electric cooperatives, the co-op business model, and how state government works. Congratulations, Noah!

Mrs. Painter's students celebrated Pi Day early with food, pi graphs, and home-made T-shirts.

Mrs. Ford's Fundamentals of Computing students are learning a new language! We made name tags and bracelets with our initials in binary code today!



Our JV & Varsity softball games @ Chesnee that were canceled last night have been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 12th @ Chesnee. JV will play at 5:30 pm and Varsity will play at 7:30 pm.
Our home JV softball game scheduled for Wednesday, March 12th has been canceled. We will share more information when that game has been rescheduled.
