We have made some changes to our baseball & softball schedules this week: • C-Team baseball will host Chapman on Tuesday, March 19. Game time has been changed to 5:30 pm and we will now play two 5 inning games (DH) • JV & Varsity baseball were supposed to host Chapman on Friday, March 22. Due to the weather forecast we have moved these games to Thursday, March 21. JV @ 5:30 pm, Varsity @ 8:00 pm. • We host Chesnee in JV Softball on Thursday, March 21. The start time has been moved to 5:30 pm. • Varsity softball was scheduled to host Woodruff on Friday 3/22/24. Due to the weather forecast we have moved this game to Thursday, March 21. Game time will be 7:30 pm.

So proud of the Broome High School Model Arab League Delegation and their representation of Qatar. They had the opportunity to meet H. Delano Roosevelt, (grandson of Franklin D. and Eleanor Roosevelt), who currently serves as President of the National Council on US-Arab Relations. Sally and Bellamy were also awarded Distinguished Delegation on the Arab Environmental Council representing Qatar.

C-Team baseball scheduled for today vs. Sims has been canceled.

Mrs. Painter’s classes celebrated Pi Day with pie, pi-ku poems, pi-line art projects, and pi probability dice rolls.

Schedule changes for Broome Baseball: Varsity and JV will play at Travelers Rest on Thursday (tomorrow) 3/14/24 at 5:00 pm and 7:30 pm instead of Friday evening. C Team will play at Spartanburg High Wednesday March 27th, 6:00 pm (make-up game from 3/6/23)

Mrs. Goode organized our FBI Virtual 101 Presentation for students to learn about career opportunities.

Mrs. Rogers’ AP Lit students are working on literary March Madness as review for the exam.

Thanks so much to Spartanburg Water for working with Ms. Fosters’ Environmental Science students to create mini wastewater filtration systems.

Mrs. Ford's Leadership class visited Pacolet, Cannons, and Cowpens Elementary Schools and read lots of fun books to students to wrap up Read Across America Week. We had a wonderful time spending time with our future Centurions!

Mrs. Fox’s Biology Honors extracted DNA from spinach.

Mrs. Fox’s AP Biology classes created chimeric organisms to represent Genetic Crosses.

Reid received his golden ticket! He will be joining AVID for the 2024-2025 school year!

Mrs. Dubois' PLTW-Principals of Biomedical Science class transformed bacteria using a plasmid containing a jellyfish gene at Clemson University's Science Resource Center.
