We had some visitors arrive by helicopter today for Career Week! Students watched the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office fly in and land in the grassy field. Then they had the opportunity to hear a career presentation. Thank you to the Sheriff's Office for this exciting demonstration!

We've had a fun-filled week for Read Across America Week! From Family Literacy Night to the Book Fair and dress-up days to the guest readers, reading was celebrated at Pacolet Elementary School!

During Family Literacy Night students' work was showcased throughout the school. Various grade levels planned presentations, debates, opinion writings, and biography reports to share with visitors. We appreciate all of the hard work from students, teachers, and their families to make this a memorable event!

First grade students wrote and illustrated books on topics of their choice. Families were delighted with stories when they joined the student authors at Family Literacy Night!

We enjoyed having all of our families join us for Family Literacy Night! 5K had a lot of fun making words.

Kindergarten students in Mrs. Price’s class used different materials to make models of 3D shapes.
