There was a lot to celebrate at last night's District Three Board Meeting! 
First, we recognized three students at Pacolet Elementary who qualified for the South Carolina Elementary Honor Choir! 
They are: Remi Price, Emily Campbell and Ashlynn Hollis. 400 students from across the state auditioned to be part of the choir and they are three of 230 students selected to perform in Columbia on Saturday, February 10th. We are so proud of their accomplishments!
Next, we honored Ms. Holly Jolley, a member of our board since 2007. As Dr. Fowler said last night, Ms. Jolley is truly a champion of District Three and one of our district's biggest cheerleaders! She and her husband, Philip, have volunteered countless hours supporting students in the district for years. They have been dedicated to ensuring our students succeed and feel supported. We wish them the very best in future endeavors as they embark on a new chapter. Thank you for your service, Ms. Jolley!
We also installed officers for our board. Three of them were incumbents.
They are:
Mr. Eddie Dearybury
Ms. Jodi Gilmer
Mr. Billy Gossett
We then installed a newly-elected member of our board, Ms. Meg Cheshier. We are excited to welcome Ms. Cheshier to the board! She is a valued member of the D3 community.
