Last night, we officially dedicated the Gettys D. Broome High School guidance wing in honor of Mr. Marion "Dooley" Miller.
The guidance wing at Broome High School will forever be known as the Marion "Dooley" Miller Guidance Suite.
Mr. Miller served Spartanburg School District Three as an educator, guidance counselor, administrator and basketball coach.
He is remembered in District Three for his connection to students, parents, and the community; his servant leadership; his guidance and counseling through his words of wisdom; and his humor.
We thank Mr. Miller's family and friends for joining us at last night's dedication ceremony. We know his legacy will inspire District Three students for generations to come.
